Grolier Club Centennial records, 1982-1985.

The Grolier Club Centennial records collection includes records documenting the Centennial Fund, the Centennial Convocation (April 1984), and major Club publications issued for the Centennial. This material includes: authors' typescripts and galley/printers' proofs from the Stinehour Press. Publications represented are: Joseph Blumenthal's The typographic years; (1983); Bibliography, its history and development, by Bernard Breslauer and Roland Folter (1984); and The Grolier Club: its library, publications and exhibitions (1984). Also: typescripts and related materials for Books and prints, past, present and future: papers presented at the Grolier Club Centennial Convocation (1984). There are also invitations and other printed ephemera issued in connection with the Centennial, ca. 275 photographs of Centennial events, and an autograph score for the Grolier Centennial Fanfare composed by Lawrence Benz.
